PetComfort is a secondary brand of WeatherTech. WeatherTech’s founder and CEO, David MacNeil was inspired to create the pet bowls after his last three dogs passed away due to cancer. He wanted create a human grade, non-toxic pet bowl for his dogs and others too.
PetComfort came to life about a year in to my working with WeatherTech. When I started WeatherTech, I entered a successful company with an already established brand. PetComfort was an entirely different game. We had to explore a new industry and learn what people were interested in when buying for their pets. The pet industry was certainly a shift in marketing and design than the automotive industry.
